Times Group

We are based on the third floor of number 36 in Vinoba Puri. This is right in Lajpat Nagar 2, New Delhi 24. If you know this area, you know it is one of the busiest parts of the city. There is always something happening outside, and the noise from the market and the cars is pretty constant throughout the day. Being on the third floor helps a little with the street noise, but not much. Our office is a busy place because we are part of the Times Group, so there is always some kind of deadline or project we are working on. It’s not a polished, high-tech space; it’s more of a working office with stacks of newspapers, boxes of files, and people constantly talking on their phones. We have been here for a good while and the space has seen a lot of use. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you, you just come up and find whoever you are looking for. We work long hours sometimes, especially when there is a big story or a promotion going on. Most of us just grab tea from the vendor at the corner when we need a break. It is a very practical environment where the focus is just on getting the news and the business side of things sorted. We don't have time for anything too formal. It is just us working in a crowded city.
