Time Of India

Our place is at Wzk 78, Street No 5 in New Delhi, area code 110018. It’s tucked away in a bit of a maze of streets. If you aren't from around here, you might get lost trying to find us the first time. We operate as Time Of India from this location. It’s a narrow street, so parking is always a nightmare. We mostly just tell people to take an auto. The office itself is quite modest. We have a few old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, so we keep the lights on all day. We deal with a lot of local stuff here. There’s always someone coming in with a query or a piece of news. It’s not a polished media room with big screens. It’s more of a ground-level operation. We drink a lot of tea, mostly from the guy who brings it around in a kettle twice a day. The walls are covered in old calendars and maps of the city. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. We start when we start and leave when the work is finished. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s the nature of being in this part of Delhi. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of whatever comes through the door each morning.
