Ticketing Executive

Our little office, Ticketing Executive, is located at R,Z,J-82 in Old Roshan Pura, which is over in the Najafgarh area of New Delhi. It is a pretty simple setup we have here. We mostly spend our time on the phones or looking at flight and train schedules on our computers. Najafgarh is a bit far from the main city center, but we like it because it is where we live. The office is just a room with a few tables and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We started this because we realized people in the neighborhood needed help with their travel bookings and didn't always want to do it online themselves. We don't have any big flashy signs or a fancy waiting area. It’s just us doing the paperwork and making sure the names and dates are typed in correctly. Sometimes the printer jams or we have to wait a long time on hold with the airlines, but that is just part of the job. We aren't trying to be some global travel giant. We are just a local business that knows the people who live on our street. We talk to everyone who comes in like they are a neighbor, because usually they are. We just want to do a good job so people come back next time they need to go somewhere. It is a quiet life but we like the work we do here.
