Ticketing Executive

Our little office is at 3072/2H on Street Number 10 in Ranjit Nagar, New Delhi. It is a small operation. We sit here and handle ticketing for people who need to get from one place to another. It could be buses, trains, or flights. We have a couple of computers that are a bit old, but they get the job done. Ranjit Nagar is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the street. We do not have a big sign. Just a place where you can come and get your travel sorted. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize to the people waiting. It is part of the daily life. We are not a big travel agency with fancy furniture. It is just a few chairs and a desk. We spend time on the phone with transport companies. People from the local shops often come by for a chat. It is a very local feel. We like being in this part of Delhi because it feels real. No one is trying to be something they are not. We book the tickets, print the receipts, and help folks plan their routes. It is a simple business. The printer makes a loud clicking sound when a ticket comes out. We keep a stack of rubber bands on the desk to keep the papers together. We just keep working until the sun goes down. The walls could use a new coat of paint soon.
