Ticketing Execuitve

You can find us over at A-143 on Street Number 3 in Laxmi Nagar. It’s one of those busy little streets where everyone seems to be in a rush. The name on our sign says Ticketing Execuitve, and yes, we know there’s a bit of a spelling thing there, but we never got around to changing it. We mostly spend our time booking tickets for people. It could be for the train or a bus or sometimes a flight if someone is going far. The office is basically just a couple of desks, some plastic chairs, and a printer that makes a loud clicking noise every time it starts up. Laxmi Nagar is a crowded place, and our little shop is no different. People come in all the time asking about the way to get to their village or how much a last-minute seat will cost. We do what we can to find something that works. We drink a lot of chai from the stall at the corner while we wait for the booking systems to load. It's not a glamorous job, just a lot of typing and checking dates. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a blessing in the Delhi heat. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on the street. It’s a decent way to spend the day, helping people get to where they need to go without too much fuss.
