Our office for Thyssenkrupp Elevators (India) Pvt Ltd is located at D 12 in the H.A.L Executive Colony. Being in Lucknow, especially in this specific colony, gives the place a very particular feel. It is a quiet residential area where things are mostly orderly. The space we operate out of is quite a change from the noisy factory floors or construction sites we sometimes visit. This part of Uttar Pradesh, the 226016 area, is where we’ve set up our home base. It’s a straightforward office with just the basics needed to get through the workday. High-tech gadgets or fancy decor aren't really our thing. Mostly it’s just us, some notebooks, and our phones. A lot of time is spent talking to technicians and coordinating where everyone needs to be. Since the neighbors are mostly families who have been here for decades, we try to keep the noise down. We aren't some big faceless company when you come to this door. To the people here, we are just a small group of folks who know each other well. Afternoon snacks are shared and we complain about the heat in June just like everyone else. There aren't any big speeches to give about what we do. Making sure the elevators are working and the paperwork is signed is enough. It's a quiet, steady life here at D 12.
