Thrifty Car Rentals is located over in the G-8 Area of Maya Puri. If you know New Delhi, you know Maya Puri can be a bit of a maze with all the industrial stuff going on. We spend most of our time out in the lot or behind the small desk handling keys and paperwork. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just us making sure the cars are clean enough and have enough fuel for whoever is picking them up next. We’ve got a routine here in India 110064. We check the oil, look at the tires, and make sure the paperwork is sorted so nobody gets stuck at a checkpoint. Some days it’s really quiet and we’re just sitting around drinking tea, and other days everyone wants a car at the exact same time. It gets a bit chaotic then. We don't use any high-tech systems that never work; we mostly stick to what we know. The office has a few old chairs and a lot of files. It’s honest work, even if the dust from the industrial area gets on everything and we have to keep wiping things down.
