Thrifty Car Rental,India - New Delhi

Our branch is located in Sector 1 of R.K. Puram, in Flat Number 679. It is a bit different because we are tucked into a residential block rather than a big commercial lot. We spend a lot of our time out in the parking areas checking the cars or driving them around to where they need to be. The office itself is small and pretty basic. We have got a desk, a couple of chairs for customers to use, and a metal cabinet full of car keys. It is a lot of paperwork, checking licenses, and inspecting vehicles for scratches or dents. Sometimes the cars come back late or they are a bit messy inside, and we have to scramble to get them cleaned for the next person. It is a lot of physical work and being outdoors in the heat or the rain. We do not have a fancy showroom or a coffee machine for guests. It is just us doing the daily grind of car rentals. The phone rings a lot with people asking about prices or where exactly we are located. We try to be straightforward with everyone who calls. Some days are slow and we just sit around, while other days we do not even have time to eat lunch because everyone wants a car at the same time. It is a simple business, really. We just make sure the keys are ready and the tanks are full.
