Thomas Cook(India) Ltd. is located over at 90/66B in Malviya Nagar. We are up on the first floor. It is a busy area of New Delhi, so the noise from the street usually makes its way inside. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We handle a lot of different things here, like travel bookings and currency exchange. It’s a practical workspace, not a fancy lounge. We have a few desks and computers, and usually, there are stacks of forms that need to be filled out for visas. Malviya Nagar is a great spot because there’s always something going on outside, which makes the day go by faster. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a few minutes for the backup to start, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We don't put on any airs here. We just sit down with whoever walks in and try to figure out their travel needs. Whether it is a trip abroad or just a local flight, we do the same amount of work to get it sorted. The team is small and we’ve worked together for quite a while now. We usually order in lunch from one of the local shops nearby. It is just a regular office where we try to keep the travel plans moving along without any big fuss or complicated systems.
