This Thomas Cook branch sits in Pocket 2 of Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of Delhi. We are located at 319-B, and it’s a busy little office. People come in mostly looking for help with their travel plans or currency stuff. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to folks about where they want to go. It’s not like the big fancy offices you see in the movies. We have brochures stacked up and desks that have seen better days. Mayur Vihar is a crowded place, so there’s always someone walking by or popping in to ask a quick question about a passport or a flight. We try to keep things straight and honest. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the local area well. When the printers are working and the phones aren't ringing all at once, it’s a good place to work. We deal with a lot of paperwork because travel always seems to need more forms than you’d expect. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, which is a bit of a disaster for us, but we just walk over to the local stalls for a cup. It is a very normal office life. We aren't doing anything flashy, just helping people get from one place to another without too much trouble. It gets a bit hectic during the holiday seasons, but we manage somehow.
