Thomas Cook

Our office is located at A 203 in the Ircon Society. We're on Plot 14 in Sector 18A, which is part of the New Delhi 110075 area. Thomas Cook has a presence here, but this particular spot is more of a focused local branch. We deal with travel bookings and currency exchange mostly. The Ircon Society is a nice enough place to work from. It feels more like a community than a business district. We have people coming in with all sorts of questions about their trips. Some are excited, some are stressed because they lost a passport or need money fast. We just sit with them and try to figure it out. We don't use those shiny brochures as our only way of talking. We just tell it like it is. If a flight is likely to be late or a hotel is just okay, we say so. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together for years. We know the neighborhood well. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don't have fancy mission statements on the wall. We just want to make sure the person across the desk gets what they need. It’s a simple, honest way to run a travel desk. We like the fact that people around Sector 18A know where to find us when they are planning something big.
