Thomas Cook

We are at the Thomas Cook branch in Kalkaji, New Delhi. The address is B-8B, which is easy enough to find if you know the Kalkaji area. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood with a lot of houses and some local shops mixed in. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. We have a few people working here who have been around for years and know the ropes. The atmosphere is usually quiet until the phones start ringing. We aren't a huge headquarters or anything, just a local branch doing our thing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in Delhi. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about the daily schedule. Kalkaji can get very crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We usually try to wrap things up and lock the doors before the traffic gets too bad. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that for visitors. Just some basic chairs for people to sit while they wait. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive decor. We just focus on the stuff that needs to be done. It’s a practical setup for a practical job.
