Our office is tucked into Green Park Main, right in the middle of all the noise and the shops. If you know the U-7 building, that is where you will find us sitting with piles of papers and passports. It is a busy place because people are always thinking about where they want to go next. We spend our mornings dealing with foreign exchange rates and checking flight timings on old monitors. The air conditioner hums in the corner and there is usually a stack of brochures on the front desk that people flip through while they wait. Green Park is a crowded area so getting here can be a bit of a struggle if you are driving. We have been in this neighborhood for years now and the tea stall nearby knows exactly how we like our morning chai. It is not some high-tech workspace with glass walls, just a regular office with desks pushed together and a lot of phone calls happening at once. People come in to ask about visas or to get their money changed for trips abroad. We just do the work, file the forms, and try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet slows down when everyone is trying to book at once, but we manage. It is just a local spot where the daily grind of travel planning happens.
