Thomas Cook India Ltd

We are located at H No 1005, Block 1, in the Dda Multystoryed Flats of Motia Khan. It’s right in the middle of Pahar Ganj, New Delhi 55, which is about as busy as it gets. Thomas Cook India Ltd has this spot here, and if you know Pahar Ganj, you know it’s always crowded and full of energy. Our office is in one of those big multi-story blocks where the elevators are sometimes a bit moody. We see all kinds of people walking by our door. Since we are in the heart of the city, there is never a quiet moment. The honking of cars and the shouts from the market below are just the background music to our day. Inside, we’ve got desks piled with travel documents and old maps of the city. It’s not a polished, high-rise office with glass walls. It’s a practical space where we handle travel arrangements. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to sort out itineraries while drinking tea that we get from the stall downstairs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, but it works for us. Living and working in Pahar Ganj means you have to be okay with a bit of chaos. We’ve been here long enough that the chaos feels normal and the office feels like a second home. The stairs can be a real workout if the lift is broken, which happens often.
