Thomas Cook India Ltd. has a branch here at A-96 in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi - 110062. Sangam Vihar is one of those places that never seems to sleep. It is incredibly packed with houses and shops all leaning against each other. Our office at A-96 is just a small part of this massive neighborhood. We handle a lot of the travel and money exchange stuff that people need. It is not a glamorous job. We sit behind our desks and deal with a lot of paperwork and computer screens all day long. The office is functional but definitely not fancy. We have some chairs for people to sit in while they wait, and the walls have a few maps and posters on them. It can get pretty hot in here when the power cuts out, which happens more often than we would like. The staff is just a few local people who know the area well. We don't have the big corporate feel you might find in their main offices. Here in Sangam Vihar, things are a bit more down-to-earth. We see all kinds of people coming through the door every day. We just try to get their travel stuff sorted so they can go about their business. It is a busy, tiring, but honest way to spend the day. We are just one small office in a very large city, doing what we can.
