Our office is in Janakpuri, right opposite the District Centre, on the first floor of the Sukumar Sudhakar building. Being a travel company means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to people about where they want to go. It’s always a bit chaotic here, especially during the holiday seasons when everyone wants a ticket at the same time. The phones ring constantly, and there’s usually a stack of passports waiting to be processed for visas. We have travel posters on the walls, but they’re starting to peel at the edges. The carpet is a bit worn from all the people walking in and out. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting the bookings right. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy promises; we just try to find the best flight or the right currency exchange for whoever walks in. Sometimes a system crashes and we have to call the head office, which is always a bit of a wait. The staff here knows a lot about travel, but we’re also just regular people who live in Delhi and deal with the same commute every day. We drink a lot of chai while we wait for confirmations to come through. It’s a busy, sometimes loud environment, but we’ve been at this for a long time and know how to handle the rush. We just try to make sure your tickets are printed and your money is ready.
