Thomas Cook India Limited

We are located at 1268 on the ground floor in Sector-31, Gurgaon. This part of the city is always moving, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of it. We have been here for a good while, handling travel bookings and currency exchange under the Thomas Cook India Limited name. It is a straightforward office. We don’t have those massive lobby areas you see in the new high-rises. Instead, it is just our desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a lot of paperwork. Usually, the day starts with checking the new rates and seeing what emails came in overnight. Gurgaon can be quite a hectic place with the traffic and the noise, but inside here, it is mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We get people from around the neighborhood coming in to sort out their vacations or work trips. It is a local kind of feel, even though the company is big. We keep things pretty simple. There is a small area for files and a corner where we keep the water cooler. The walls are plain, and we have a few maps pinned up here and there to help explain routes to people. It’s a working office, nothing more and nothing less. We like being in Sector-31 because it feels accessible for everyone nearby who doesn't want to drive into the really crowded malls just to talk to someone about a trip.
