We run The Wise Miser Travel Pvt. Ltd. from the second floor of H-72 in Sector 12, Noida. It’s a pretty standard office building in a part of town that’s always got something going on. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we have to deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or the occasional dusty afternoon, but we make it work. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly just filled with maps, computer screens, and a lot of notebooks where we jot down travel routes. We started this because we liked the idea of helping people get from one place to another without a lot of hassle. It’s just a few of us here, and we don't have any fancy titles. We all just pitch in where it's needed. Sometimes that means answering the phones for hours, and other times it means looking up train schedules late into the night. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees and a fancy lobby. We have some chairs for visitors and a desk that’s usually covered in paperwork. We like it this way because it’s manageable and we know what’s going on with every single person who calls us. The 201301 area is a good home for us. We’ve been here for a while and we know the tea stall downstairs pretty well. It’s just a simple, local business where we try to do right by the people who come to see us.
