The Travel People

The Travel People is located at D-389 in Nehru Vihar. We are quite close to Timarpur, which is a well-known landmark in this part of North Delhi. The pin code is 110054. Our office is in a residential-looking building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures that are a bit out of date sitting on the shelves. There’s a lot of paperwork on the desks because that’s just how travel planning goes. The street outside D-389 is usually full of parked cars and people walking their dogs. It’s a bit of a squeeze to find a spot if you are driving. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but there isn't much of a view. The tea stall at the corner is where we go when we need a break. It's a simple operation we have here. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and someone looks up from their computer to say hello. The floors are a bit creaky and the printer makes a loud noise every time we use it. We stay pretty busy with phone calls and checking schedules all day long. It's just a bunch of us working in Nehru Vihar.
