We are based up on the third floor of a building in Sadiq Nagar, over at A-22. It’s a bit of a climb since the stairs are narrow and sometimes the light in the stairwell doesn't work. We work with clocks and watches at The Royal Time Machine, mostly older stuff that people bring in when they stop ticking. The name sounds fancy, but the reality is a workshop full of tiny parts, old tools, and bits of metal. We’ve been in New Delhi for quite a bit. It’s usually quiet up here away from the street noise, which helps when you’re trying to look at something small under a magnifying glass. We don't have a big storefront on the ground. You have to know where to find us. Usually, it's just two or three of us sitting around the workbench. We deal with whatever comes our way, from simple battery changes to fixing gears that haven't moved in decades. Sometimes the lighting isn't great, but we make do with desk lamps. The space is a bit cramped with all the boxes, but it works for us. We started this because we liked how mechanical things work. It’s not a high-tech lab. Just a small place in Sadiq Nagar where we keep track of time in our own way. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let a breeze in. It's a decent spot to spend the day. Nothing too special to look at, just a lot of ticking sounds.
