The Park Hotel

Our place, The Park Hotel, is over in Ghaziabad, specifically at 165B Kamna in Vaishali Sector 5. It is a neighborhood where a lot of people live and work, so we feel more like a part of the local community than some big, cold chain. The building itself is very straightforward. We do not have those huge neon signs you see in the city center. Inside, things are kept simple and clean. We have rooms for guests and a small area where people can sit while they wait. Most of the staff live nearby, so we usually walk or take a rickshaw to get here in the mornings. It is not a five-star luxury resort, but it is comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. We handle the cleaning ourselves and try to make sure everything works like it is supposed to. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit old, but we get it fixed as soon as someone tells us there is a problem. People staying here are usually visiting relatives or have some business to attend to in Ghaziabad. We do not have a big fancy menu, just basic stuff that tastes like home cooking. Sector 5 is a decent area with shops right around the corner. We have been at this Kamna address for a bit now, and we know most of the neighbors. It is a quiet life for the most part.
