The Oberoi, New Delhi

We are based out of house number 1810 in Sector 8, Faridabad. Even though the name is The Oberoi, New Delhi, this is where our local office is set up in Haryana. It’s a residential area, so it’s surrounded by houses and local parks. We work out of this building, and it’s a far cry from the big hotels people usually think of. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with all sorts of administrative things here. The street outside is usually quiet during the day, which helps us focus. We have a small kitchen where we heat up our lunch boxes and talk about whatever was on the news. There isn't any fancy branding on the walls or expensive carpets on the floor. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs every day. Some of us have been working in this Faridabad office for years, so we know all the shortcuts to avoid the traffic on the main roads. We get a lot of mail delivered here, and the postman knows us well. It’s a very practical setup without any bells or whistles. We just handle the tasks that come in and make sure the paperwork is done correctly. It’s a humble spot, but it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do.
