The Oberoi New Delhi

Our address is at E-I72 in the B.K. Dutt Colony, which sits right along Lodhi Road. This is a very specific part of New Delhi with a lot of history and old buildings all around us. The atmosphere in the colony is quite different from the busier parts of the city. It’s a bit more settled and quiet, with lots of people who have lived here for decades. We operate out of this space, and it’s a fairly modest setup considering the name. Most of our day involves managing the various tasks that keep things running. It’s a lot of talking to people and making sure the paperwork is in order. Lodhi Road is always busy with cars and people, but once you step into the colony, things slow down a little. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front. It’s just a regular building where we do our work. The staff here is used to the daily routine of the neighborhood. We see the same faces every day, and we’ve become part of the local scenery in a way. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is a practical office where we deal with the realities of working in a busy city like Delhi. We just try to stay organized and get through the list of things that need to be done before we go home for the day.
