Down in Lajpat Nagar 3, at G-49, is where we handle things for The Oberoi Hotels And Resorts. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and being here 110024 means we are right in the middle of all the market noise and shoppers. People usually associate the name with luxury, but this office is more about the practical side of things. We’ve got desks piled with files and the phones don't seem to stop ringing most days. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you find G-49, it’s easy enough to spot us. We have been in this area for a good amount of time, so we know the local chai wallah and the best spots to grab a quick lunch when things get too busy. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for everything we need to do. Sometimes the traffic in Lajpat Nagar makes it hard for people to reach us on time, but that’s just how New Delhi is. We don’t go for anything too flashy in the office itself. It’s just us working through the daily tasks, making sure the bookings and details are all lined up correctly. There are a few trees outside that give some shade, which is nice in the summer. It feels like a real community here, even though we are part of a big hotel group. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
