The Oberoi Hotel, New Dehi

Our location at Rz-37A in Durga Vihar, Najafgarh, is a bit of a distance from the main city center of New Delhi. It’s a different vibe out here in Phase-I compared to the big hotel downtown. We work in a small office on Gali No-17, where we manage various support tasks and local operations. The street outside is usually full of life, with kids playing and people going about their shopping. Our office is tucked away, and we mostly focus on the logistical side of things. It’s a plain room with a few desks and a very old ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise when it’s on high. We spend our days coordinating details and making sure everything is lined up correctly. It’s not a place with marble floors or crystal chandeliers; it’s just where we do the behind-the-scenes work. Most of us live in the Najafgarh area, so we don't have to deal with the long commute into the heart of the city, which is a relief. We know the neighbors well and often stop to talk to the shopkeepers on our way in. Sometimes we have to deal with internet outages or water issues, just like any other house in the block. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just come in, handle the paperwork, and try to keep things moving. It’s a quiet, local way of working.
