The Oberoi Group Of Hotels

Our office for The Oberoi Group Of Hotels is located at 48/7 East Patel Nagar in New Delhi. It’s a residential-feeling area but it’s quite central for what we need to do. We handle a lot of the background work that goes into keeping the hotels running smoothly. It’s not as glamorous as the actual hotel lobbies you might see. Here, it’s mostly computers, filing cabinets, and people talking about logistics. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and the stairs are starting to show a bit of wear. Every morning, we start by going through the overnight messages and seeing what needs fixing. The neighborhood is full of small shops and houses, so there’s a nice local feel when we go out for lunch. We aren't here to give sales pitches or act like we are better than anyone. We’re just a part of the team that makes sure the guests have what they need. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and it gets a bit stressful, but we just take it one call at a time. It’s a very practical job. We don’t have fancy furniture or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place where we work hard to keep everything on track. We like the honesty of the daily routine and the fact that we’re right here in Patel Nagar. The traffic can be a bit much in the evenings, but it's home to us.
