The Muse

We are based out in Bokaro Steel City over in Jharkhand. It’s a town built around the steel plant, so everything has that industrial, sturdy feel to it. Our place, The Muse, is where we spend most of our time. It’s not in the middle of a big city like Delhi or Mumbai, but we like the pace here. The building isn't brand new, and you can see some wear and tear on the walls, but it’s ours. We have a few rooms and a common area where people can sit. It’s mostly locals or people visiting for work at the plant who come through our doors. We don't have a big team or a lot of rules. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure people have what they need. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great, or we run out of tea leaves, but we fix things as they come up. Bokaro is a quiet place once you get away from the main factory areas. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the town change a little, but not too much. Our goal isn't to be the biggest place in Jharkhand. We just want to have a spot where things are simple and straightforward. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running, but we enjoy the daily routine and the people we meet. It’s just how we live and work in this town.
