The Mobile Store

The Mobile Store is located over at Bhogal 44 A. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find. We are basically a small team of three people working out of this one room. We handle a lot of different mobile phones, mostly used ones and some new ones when we get them in stock. The shop stays open pretty late because Bhogal is a busy place in the evenings. We spend most of our time sitting behind the glass counters showing people how the cameras work or helping them set up their SIM cards. It’s a lot of talking throughout the day. The shelves are mostly full of cases and screen protectors because that’s what everyone asks for. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but we just live with it. We’ve been at this address for a few years and have seen the shops around us change quite a bit. It’s a good spot. We don’t do much advertising, we just put a sign out front and wait for people to come in. Sometimes we have old parts in the drawers that we use for quick repairs. We like to keep things simple here. There aren't any fancy uniforms or anything like that. Just us in our regular clothes helping out whoever walks through the door. It gets a bit crowded on Saturdays, so we usually have to stand up most of the day.
