The Metropolitan Hotel

We are located over in Sector 4 of Dwarka at a place called Green Heavens, right in the Sail CGHS area. If you know the neighborhood, it is mostly residential around here, so it is usually a bit calmer than the main markets. The Metropolitan Hotel is tucked into Plot 35. Most mornings start early with the sound of the traffic building up on the main road outside. We spend a lot of our time just managing the day-to-day stuff like fixing a leaky tap or making sure the hallway lights are working. It is a big building and keeping everything running takes a lot of effort from all of us. There is always someone coming in or out, checking their watch or looking for their keys. We see a lot of people who are just passing through or staying for work nearby. The local shops are just a short walk away so we go there for small things we need throughout the day. The security guard at the gate knows most of the faces by now. It isn't a very loud place, mostly just the hum of the air conditioners in the summer. We keep the registers updated and talk to the neighbors when they walk their dogs in the evening. There is no big secret to how we run things, we just show up and do what needs doing every day.
