The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi

We are over here at Mig Flat No 125 in Prahladpur. It isn't a fancy skyscraper or anything like that, just a regular place where we handle the day-to-day things for The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi. Most mornings start with some tea and a look at the paperwork piled on the desk. Prahladpur is a busy area, lots of noise outside, but inside we just try to keep things moving. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some people get confused because it’s a flat, but this is where the back-end work happens. Dealing with New Delhi traffic is a whole other thing, but we manage to get in on time usually. It’s mostly about answering phones and making sure the schedules are sorted out. We don’t have a big lobby here, just some chairs and a few computers that have seen better days. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, so the fan is always going. People stop by sometimes asking for directions and we do what we can. It’s just us, working through the lists and keeping the records straight. There is a small market nearby where we get lunch. It isn’t glamorous, but it is how we spend our hours. We know the neighbors pretty well. It’s a decent spot to be based in. Just a group of people doing a job in a quiet corner of the city. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work.
