The Mertopolitan Hotel,New Delhi

Our location is 65-A in Chander Vihar, over in the Mandawali area. It is a bit of a walk from the main transport links, but the neighborhood has everything you need. The Mertopolitan Hotel name might sound like something from a movie, but we are just a practical spot in a busy residential block. The street is narrow, and you have to be careful when cars are trying to pass each other. We spend our mornings getting things ready and the afternoons just keeping up with the flow of things. The building is standard for Mandawali, nothing that stands out too much from the rest of the row. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, so we see the kids playing and the vegetable sellers going by with their carts. It is an honest place to work. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of cooking from the houses next door. We just do our thing, keep the place as clean as we can, and go about our business. It is a local life, and we are fine with that. No one here is trying to be something they are not. Just plain work in Chander Vihar. That is just how it is for us every single day until we go home.
