The Manor

The Manor is located at A-123 in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. Bhudev Bhatt runs things here. It’s not one of those massive, cold hotels you see in the city center. It’s more of a local place where people stay when they need a spot that feels a bit more like home. New Ashok Nagar is a very busy, crowded part of Delhi, but we try to keep our space a bit more relaxed. We have people coming in from all over, some for work and some just passing through. The rooms are simple and we keep them clean, which is what most folks are looking for anyway. We spend a lot of time talking to guests, helping them figure out the metro or where to get a good meal nearby. My phone is usually ringing with people asking for directions or checking if we have a bed available for the night. We don't have a fancy reception desk with a guy in a tuxedo. It’s just us. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and the maintenance, but we stay on top of it. We like seeing the same faces come back when they’re in town again. It’s a straightforward business. We provide a place to sleep and try to be helpful. There are no big promises here, just a decent stay at a fair price.
