The Lemon Tree Hotel

You can find us at Db 79C in the Hari Nagar area of New Delhi. The Lemon Tree Hotel has been part of this street for a while now. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of shops and people walking around at all hours. We have a small crew here that looks after the place. We do the cleaning, handle the check-ins, and try to keep the noise down for the guests. It’s not always easy because the street outside can be quite loud with the scooters and cars. The rooms are what they are, just basic spots to stay if you are in town for work or visiting. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes the air conditioning needs a look or the wifi gets spotty, and we just do our best to get it sorted out without making a fuss. We don't have those long meetings about strategy or anything. We just show up, see what needs doing, and do it. Most of the people who stay here are just looking for a place to crash for the night. We know the local food spots around Hari Nagar, so we often tell people where to go get a good meal nearby. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't have a big fancy entrance, but we keep the floors swept and the doors open for whoever comes by. It’s a bit of a scramble some days but we make it work somehow.
