The Leela Kempensiki Gurgaon (Pre Opening Team)

We are the pre-opening team for The Leela Kempensiki Gurgaon. Right now, we are all working out of House No.1393 in Sector 28, Faridabad. It is a bit of a temporary situation while the main hotel gets finished. There are papers everywhere and charts on the walls about schedules and staff hiring. It is a busy house. We have converted some of the rooms into offices with desks and chairs we brought in. It is not the luxury hotel environment yet, just a regular house in Faridabad where we do the planning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings around the big dining table. The commute to Gurgaon from here can be a bit long depending on the traffic, so we stay here most of the day. It is quite a mix of people in the team. We are all trying to figure out the logistics before the big day. Sometimes we order lunch from the small shops nearby. It feels a bit like a startup even though it is for a big hotel name. We have some laptops and a printer that jams occasionally. It is just us working through the lists and making sure everything is ready for the opening. It is a bit cramped but it works for now. We are just a group of people in a house trying to get a big project off the ground. It is honest work.
