The Lalit(Intercontinental The Grand)

Our spot is at House Number 14, tucked into Nehru Gali No 1 in Burari. It might seem a bit unexpected to find us here in this part of Delhi 110084, but this is where we do our day-to-day things. The street is quite narrow and you have to be careful when you’re driving through so you don't hit any of the parked scooters. It’s a local neighborhood through and through. We work out of this house, and it feels a lot different than working in a big hotel building. We have a couple of rooms set up with computers and phones. There is no big sign out front or a fancy lobby to greet people. We are just a group of people handling the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps everything else moving. Usually, there’s some tea on the table and we’re chatting about what needs to be finished before the day ends. The walls are a plain color and we haven't really bothered with much decoration. It is a practical space for us. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. It’s just how life is here in Burari. We aren't trying to be fancy or corporate. We just show up, do the work, and go home like everyone else. It’s a real place with real people and we like it that way.
