The Imperial,New Delhi

Our workplace is right at The Imperial on Janpath in the heart of New Delhi. This area is always full of people, tourists, and traffic, so there is never a dull moment. Being on Janpath means we are close to everything, but it also means it takes forever to get anywhere during rush hour. The building itself has a lot of history, which you can feel when you walk through the halls. We work in the back offices where the real day-to-day stuff happens. It’s not all gold leaf and fancy carpets back here. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We deal with all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps The Imperial running. Some days are incredibly hectic with phone calls coming in one after another. Other days are a bit slower, allowing us to catch up on the paperwork that piles up. We have a small break area where we grab some water or a quick bite between tasks. The windows look out onto the busy streets, which can be a bit distracting but also keeps us connected to the city. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our office space; we just need it to be functional. It’s a bit of an old-school environment, but we like it that way. We just keep doing our bit every day.
