The Imperial Hotel

This is our little place over in Vikaspuri, specifically at A/182. It is not one of those massive, shiny hotel buildings you see in the center of New Delhi. We are tucked right into the residential neighborhood here. It is more of a local spot where people from around the area end up staying or just stopping by. We have been here for some time now and the building has its own quirks. You know how it is with older properties in this part of town. Sometimes the lights might flicker or a door squeaks when you open it, but it is home for us. We do not really do the whole big corporate thing with fancy uniforms or scripted greetings. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors because they usually are. Working in Vikaspuri means we see a lot of the same faces every week. It is a bit quieter than the main markets but still gets its share of busy traffic outside. We try to keep things clean and tidy without making a big fuss about everything. There is not a team of hundreds here, just a handful of us making sure things work. It is a simple setup for us. We do not have a giant lobby or anything like that. Just a small reception area and the rooms. It is practical and honest. Most people find us through word of mouth. We have grown used to the rhythm of the street.
