The Imperial, Hotel

We are located over in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, specifically in Pocket V. Most people think of the big buildings when they hear the name, but our day-to-day happens right here in this part of Delhi. It’s a bit of a mix of office chores and making sure everything behind the scenes is running like it should. Our office at 804 isn't huge, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or handling various bits of paperwork that keep the hospitality side moving. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living and working in this area. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the schedules and the guest requirements. It’s not always glamorous, despite what people expect from a hotel name. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a bit of a neighborhood feel to how we work. We know the local shops and the guys who deliver our lunch. It’s a steady rhythm of checking lists and updating files. We don’t have a big fancy lobby here in Mayur Vihar, just desks and computers and a lot of folders. But without this office, things would probably get messy pretty fast. We just stay focused on the tasks in front of us. There is always a sense of just doing the work that needs to be finished before the day ends.
