The Grill, Restaurant & Zafrana Zaika

The Grill, Restaurant & Zafrana Zaika is our place. The address we have listed is just Abc, which is a bit strange but that is what is on the paperwork. Maybe it means we are just a simple spot that is easy to find or we are just starting out. We spend most of our hours in the kitchen or standing near the tables. It is not a giant, fancy place. You can smell the spices and the grilled meat as soon as you get close to the door. We have some wooden tables and chairs that don’t always match perfectly. The walls have a few pictures on them but nothing very expensive. We are much more focused on the food than the wallpaper anyway. It gets really hot near the grill, especially in the evenings when more people start coming in. We have a few regulars who come in almost every day and they don't even look at the menu anymore. The staff is just a few of us. We do all the cleaning, the cooking, and the serving ourselves. It is hard work and our shoes are usually pretty dirty by the end of a long shift. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to take professional photos. We just open the doors and start cooking whatever is fresh. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to run to the local market. It is a bit chaotic but we like it.
