The Grand

Out here in Panuwanaula, things move a little slower than they do in the big cities. We call this place The Grand, though it’s really just our local spot in the village. It is located right near the post office, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are passing through. We’ve been here for a while now. The air is better out here in the 05962 area. Most of the people who come by are locals or travelers who ended up on this road. We don't have a huge staff or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is taken care of every day. We don't do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick in a small village like this. Life is pretty simple here. We open up in the morning and stay busy until it’s time to close. Sometimes the weather makes things interesting, especially during the rains, but we've seen it all before. We aren't trying to be some high-end luxury place you see in magazines. We are just a part of the Panuwanaula community. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone in the village and they can point you toward the post office area. We’ve been at this address for a good long time and don't plan on going anywhere else. It’s just a regular life in India, and we are happy to be a part of it. We just keep the doors open and do what needs to be done.
