The Grand

The Grand is located over in Vasant Kunj, which is a busy part of New Delhi. It is a large building and there is always a lot happening inside. We have people working in the lobby, people cleaning the rooms, and others handling the kitchen. It is a constant cycle of guests arriving and leaving. We spend our shifts making sure the floors are shiny and the front desk is staffed so people are not waiting around. Vasant Kunj is a place with a lot of malls and traffic, so it can be quite a hustle outside our doors. Inside, we just try to keep things moving smoothly. There are a lot of hallways to cover and many rooms to check on. The staff comes from all over the city to work here. We do not really have a complicated way of doing things, we just follow the schedule and do the tasks that are assigned for the day. Whether it is moving luggage or fixing something in a room, there is always a job that needs doing. We see a lot of different people coming through, from business travelers to families on vacation. It is a big operation, but at the end of the day, it is just about making sure the building is running and the guests have what they need for their stay. We have been part of the landscape here in Vasant Kunj for quite some time now and we just keep the doors open.
