We are located at 36/396 in Trilok Puri, which is a part of Delhi that has a lot of history and a lot of people. The Foreign Correspondents' Club might sound like it belongs in a fancy government building, but our presence here in Trilok Puri is more about being where things actually happen. The office is a straightforward setup. We have rooms for meetings, some old desks, and a lot of books and papers scattered around. It is the kind of place where reporters or staff members might drop in at odd hours because news doesn't really follow a schedule. The neighborhood is very dense, with narrow streets and lots of small shops nearby. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long—vendors calling out, horns honking, and children playing. It is a very real, unpolished part of Delhi. We don't have a big sign or a lobby with a receptionist. It is more about having a functional space where people can gather or work on their stories. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, and we just open the windows and deal with it. It’s a place for people who are interested in what’s going on in the world, but it starts right here on the ground in Trilok Puri. It is honest and a bit worn down, just like a busy office should be for people doing real work.
