We are located right inside the J.N.U. campus at the Mahanadi (Old) Hostel, room 006. It’s a bit of a different setup than your usual office building since we’re literally in a university hostel in New Delhi. The Co-Ordinators started here because this is where the people are. The walls are a bit old and the hallways can be noisy with students talking, but it suits us fine. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big glass front. It’s mostly just us with our laptops and a few notebooks. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that happens on campus or for the people around here. Living and working in JNU has its own vibe; things move a bit differently here. You might hear the canteen noise or see people rushing to class while we’re trying to get through our emails. We don't spend money on big signs. Most people find out about us by word of mouth or by just walking past the hostel. It’s a practical way to run things. We’re just a small group trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes we stay late because there’s a deadline, and other times we’re out getting chai like everyone else. It’s honest work in a very specific corner of Delhi. We don't pretend to be anything more than a small office in a student hostel. We enjoy being where the action is, even if it means dealing with the occasional power cut or the bustle of student life.
