The Claridges,New Delhi

Even though the name is The Claridges, New Delhi, our actual office for this part of the work is located way up in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. You can find us at 1701-02, Pratap Street. It is quite a change from the heat of Delhi. Being in Mandi is different; the pace of life is a bit slower, which we appreciate. We handle things from this end, far away from the main hotel noise. The office on Pratap Street is where the back-end stuff happens. It’s a practical setup. We don't have any fancy mountain views from every window, but it’s a good place to work. We spend our time on the phone or on the computer, coordinating things that people probably don't even think about. It is a lot of logistics and planning. Sometimes the weather in Himachal can be a bit tricky, but we managed to stay open and get things done. We are just a small group of staff members who know the business well. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. We just focus on the tasks at hand. People in the neighborhood know us as the office on the street. It’s a simple life here. We work hard, take our breaks, and make sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a long way from New Delhi, but we make it work from here. We just take it one day at a time and do what is needed.
