The Claridges New Delhi

Our place is The Claridges, right in the middle of New Delhi. It’s an old building that has been around for quite a long time, and you can definitely feel that when you walk through the doors. The walls have that thick, solid feel that newer buildings just don’t have anymore. It isn’t just a workspace for us; it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours dealing with whatever comes through the door. Some days are much busier than others, especially when there are events or a lot of people moving through the city. We don’t have a flashy mission statement hanging on the wall or anything. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep everything running smoothly. The neighborhood is nice enough, with plenty of trees around, which makes the walk from the car a bit better during the summer heat. Inside, it’s a mix of different rooms and hallways that we’ve all grown very used to over the years. We know which floorboards creak and which windows let in the best light in the afternoon. It feels more like a lived-in space than a sterile corporate office. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit moody, but we manage. It’s a steady kind of place to work. We aren't trying to change the world here, just making sure the daily operations stay on track without too much fuss.
