The Claridges Hotels Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi

We are set up on the 3rd floor of E-89 in Lajpat Nagar II. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s a chaotic and lively place. The streets are always full of people shopping for fabrics and food. Our office is right in the middle of that 110024 energy. Being on the 3rd floor means we have to walk up quite a few stairs, which is good exercise but can be a bit tiring in the summer heat. We handle things for the Claridges Hotels from here. It’s not the actual hotel building, just the administrative side of things. The rooms are filled with files and computers. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff to keep track of. The windows look out over the shops, and you can always hear the honking of rickshaws and people shouting. It’s not a quiet, polished corporate office. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We usually have our lunch together at the desks because there’s always something to finish. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It’s a very human way to work. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and some old photos. It’s just a bunch of us doing our jobs in a busy corner of Delhi. We stay busy from morning until evening.
