The Claridges Hotels And Resorts

You might find us over at Satisar Apartments, which is Plot 6 in Sector 7, Dwarka. The Claridges Hotels And Resorts has this office in A-502, which is essentially a residential flat converted for our work. It’s quite different from a big hotel lobby. Here, it’s just us surrounded by files and some basic office equipment. Dwarka is a planned area so the roads are wider, but it still feels like New Delhi once you get inside the gates. We spend the day handling the administrative side of things. The kitchen in the flat is where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. It’s a quiet atmosphere mostly, except when the phones start ringing all at once. We don't wear suits or anything like that unless there is a specific reason. Most days it’s just casual clothes and a lot of typing. The apartment has a decent view of the other blocks in Sector 7. Sometimes we sit on the balcony for a few minutes to get some air. We have some shelves that are overflowing with folders that we really should organize one day. It’s a practical way to work and it keeps the overheads low. People often get confused finding the right tower in the apartment complex, but we’re used to giving directions. It’s just a small group of us making sure the paperwork side of the hospitality business keeps moving along.
