The Claridges Hotel,New Delhi

You can find us over at 871 on the 3rd floor in Mahavarnagar. It is right in the middle of Kotla Mubarakpur in New Delhi. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets can be and how much is always going on outside. We have our office space up here where we handle things for the hotel. It is not a huge area, but it works for us. We spend most of our time on the phones or typing away at computers. There is always a lot of paperwork to get through, which isn't the most exciting part of the job but it is necessary. Being on the 3rd floor means we are away from the street noise a little bit, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. That is just New Delhi for you. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything. We just try to make sure everything is sorted out for the guests and the staff. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood and we just have to sit and wait or use our backup. It is a very practical way to work. We have been in this part of Kotla Mubarakpur for a while and we know the local shops where we get our lunch. It is a simple life and we are just trying to do a good job without making any fuss about it.
