The Claridges Hotel

We are located at 107B/C-1 in the Railway Colony of Tughlakabad. This isn't the main hotel building you might see in the fancy parts of town; this is more of an office or staff location for The Claridges Hotel. The Railway Colony is a very specific kind of neighborhood in New Delhi. It has its own feel, with the railway lines nearby and the sound of trains every now and then. Our office is a bit plain, honestly. It’s just a flat or a small house converted into a workspace. We have some desks and a few old chairs. We handle some of the behind-the-scenes stuff for the hotel from here. The address is 107B/C-1, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the colony’s layout. We don’t have a big sign or any grand entrance. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the trains. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the daily schedules. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they are fine for now. We’ve been here in Tughlakabad for a while. It’s a long way from the luxury of the hotel itself, but it’s where we do the practical work. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the hotel operations, and then head home. It’s a very grounded, everyday kind of place to be, and it suits the work we do here perfectly.
