The Bristol,Gurgaon

Well, we’re located at K-384 on the ground floor. This is Mahipalpur Ext, which is right in New Delhi-37. The name of the place is The Bristol, Gurgaon, which causes a little bit of confusion sometimes because we are definitely in New Delhi, not Gurgaon. But that’s just how the naming went when things got started years ago. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to find us without having to climb any stairs or wait for an elevator. There’s always a lot of noise from the street because Mahipalpur is always busy with cars and people heading toward the airport. You can hear the planes overhead at all hours too. Inside, we just have our desks and some old filing cabinets for the paperwork. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we do every day. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is how we start most of our mornings before the phones start ringing. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven’t gotten around to it yet. People come in with questions and we try to help them out as best as we can. It’s a regular job in a regular part of the city. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up the K-384 gate. It’s nothing special, just a bunch of us working in the office.
